LA DANZA - Johannes Walter, percussionist of the Freiburg Philharmonic Orchestra, founded the Duo ImPlus with flutist Katharina Schröter. This unusual chamber music line-up promises delightful and surprising sound combinations and exciting original works. In this concert we will be led into the world of dance music. From baroque dance at the court of the Sun King Louis XIV to Piazzolla's history of the tango to a world premiere, we will go on a journey to a wide variety of dances from all over the world in the works of Marais, Bartók, Ravel, Piazzolla, Payton MacDonald, Alexej Gerassimez, Frank Michael and Fynn L. Müller.
