Training event for professionals and volunteers from hospice, palliative care, grief counseling, open lectures for affected and interested citizens and accompanying exhibition.

For many years, LIFE AND DEATH has been the only event in Germany to offer a mixture of training courses, a trade fair and lectures for those affected, their relatives and interested members of the public on topics relating to the end of life.

In a bright and life-affirming atmosphere, exhibitors offer advice, e.g. on patient dispositions, grief counseling or burial options. Hospice associations, religious communities, associations and self-help groups offer valuable contacts. Lovingly made mourning jewelry, literature, aromatic oils, singing bowls or funeral toys provide access to the difficult topics, as do readings, small lectures and live music. The training program is practical and cross-professional and addresses full-time and volunteer companions from the fields of hospice, palliative care, grief counseling and funeral culture.
