8th Barcamp Personal

On Thursday, July 2, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Barcamp Personal Freiburg will enter its 8th round. This year's event will be hosted by Volksbank Freiburg.

Barcamp Personal once again offers a platform for exchanging ideas on current topics relating to HR management and the future of the working world. It is deliberately not a traditional conference or seminar: the open event format enables an intensive and practical exchange at eye level. Participants contribute their own topics, questions and experiences and shape the program together.

In terms of content, the focus is on key issues relating to the transformation of work and organization - such as innovative leadership models, modern organizational designs and sustainable change strategies. In addition, regional location marketing will also play a special role this time: How can companies and institutions work together to help make the region visible as an attractive place to work and live and attract and retain skilled workers?

Anyone interested in topics relating to personnel recruitment and retention as well as cultural and organizational development is invited to attend. The mix of participants from business, science and administration opens up new perspectives, new networks and enables an intensive exchange of knowledge and experience.

The Freiburg Barcamp Personal is organized by Freiburg Wirtschaft Touristik und Messe and Wirtschaftsförderung Region Freiburg - in cooperation with theChamber of Industry and Commerce of the Southern Upper Rhine, the Freiburg Chamber of Crafts, the Caritas Association for the Archdiocese of Freiburg, the Freiburg Employment Agency and Personalmanufaktur.
