8th chamber concert

8th chamber concert

The chamber concerts are an absolute affair of the heart for our musicians. They give the audience the opportunity not only to experience the high standard at which music is made in our orchestra, but also to enjoy the instruments, which have to fit into the big picture on the big stage, up close and personal. The programs are as diverse as our colleagues and offer well-known and newly discovered chamber music from the Baroque to the present day. We celebrate the last chamber concert of the season with true highlights of the chamber music literature with the so-called queen of instrumentation - the string quartet. From Beethoven's early 4th String Quartet to Stravinsky's groundbreaking Three Pieces for String Quartet to the grand master of the guild Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, there is something for everyone. With works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Igor Stravinsky and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. With Kirsten Harms, Nozomi Sekiguchi (violin), Hayoon Yoon-Mayer (viola), Tong Zhang (violoncello)
