A cry for peace

Free entry

The project choir of the association "Music for Peace and International Understanding" presents excerpts from Sergei Rachmaninov's Vespers, op. 37. In the concert "A cry for Peace", the choir performs together with the pianist Aeham Ahmad, a Palestinian-Syrian pianist. He gained international fame in 2014/2015 through his public performances in the Yarmouk refugee camp - as a "pianist in the rubble" - during the civil war in Syria. Aeham Ahmad will record the sounds of "Vespers" and improvise to them.
