Evening of alternatives - alternatives to WhatsApp, Google & Co.

Our digital lives are largely controlled by a few corporations and individuals. Thanks to their dominant market position, they determine how we inform ourselves, discuss and communicate online worldwide. Such uncontrolled influence should not be granted to any one person or company.

Based on the "Digital Independence Day", the workshops are intended to show what alternatives there are to common apps and digital offerings - in order to install and use them directly under guidance.

The workshop is aimed at all age groups and no knowledge is required. Participants should bring their own devices (laptops, tablets, smartphones) with which they use the internet.

In addition, each workshop includes a short introduction to the technical basics so that participants can carry out their own technology assessments in the future.
