Whether you found it in the attic or inherited it from your great-aunt, won it in a game of chance, borrowed it or bought it at an auction, had it made in Klingenthal or Castelfidardo: you have an accordion!We explore the diverse acoustic possibilities of this ingenious musical instrument and experience its individual character. Then we explore how our sounds can be incorporated into the ensemble. We improvise on given structures and help ourselves to traditional songs.The focus is on having fun experimenting together and playing together: a declaration of love to the queen of instruments!There is information about the inner life of the accordion, about its wild history and selected musical examples from all over the world.We will choose suitable songs from different styles and learn simple accompaniment and improvisation techniques.Those interested can focus on the bass side, which can be used to accompany melodies with simple fingerings.Knowledge of sheet music is not required and not disturbing. There is something for everyone, whether you can play or not: rely on your accordion!You will receive a self-assessment questionnaire after confirmation of your course registration.
