Mindful handling of socio-ecological crises

Every day we are confronted with news reports about environmental destruction and its consequences. This information affects our physical and mental health. At the same time, we want to make a contribution to more environmental protection. Where do we start? What can we do in our everyday lives without overburdening ourselves? How do we deal with the hard-to-digest news and our emerging feelings? The course aims to shed light on the connections between current issues and promote a mindful approach, support our self-care to deal with emerging feelings and strengthen our connection with nature. In addition to theoretical elements, the course combines mindfulness, self-care, sharing, creative elements, time spent in nature and relaxation phases.Module 1: Mindful handling of global crises, sustainable nutrition, changing understandings of natureModule 2: Needs, consumption, plasticModule 3: Body awareness, mobility, movement, air pollutionModule 4: Dealing with stress, resilience, solidarityModule 5: Self-care, connectedness, fast fashion, exploitation of oneself and othersModule 6: Communication, commitment Participants will receive a course folder with further information and texts and online access to the meditations. There is a charge of 10 euros for materials, which will be settled with the course leader on the first day of the course.
