Acoustic Instinct - Jazzhaus Choir Days 2026

The stage is an exploding field of experimentation, the hall a sparkling choral experience: ACOUSTIC INSTINCT combine the art of human beatboxing with elements from the fields of a cappella singing, slapstick, comedy, acting, pantomime and improvisation.

Without instruments and out of the moment, Paul Brenning and Julian Knörzer follow their very own "Acoustic Instinct". Together they create extraordinary sounds, give everyday events a new soundtrack, compose and write radio hits off the cuff.

It has a great charm and their joy of playing is infectious. At some point during the evening, the audience is suddenly in the middle of the action and no longer just there, helping to shape the evening, singing and moving - and learning something for life along the way with a basic course in beatboxing.
