Many millennia ago, people put on a "second skin" in the form of clothing - but hardly anything of the organic materials has survived. During a guided tour entitled "Verfilzt und zugenäht. Textile Handicrafts in Prehistory and Early History" at the Colombischlössle Archaeological Museum, she will describe how finds of tools provide fragmentary information about textile production from the Stone Age to the early Middle Ages. The event takes place in cooperation with the VHS Freiburg. Registration is only possible through the VHS, course number: 209487.
