Friday, 23/05/2025 / 07:30 PM - 09:30 PM / Waldhof e.V. - Academy for Continuing Education
On this evening, you can expect a short live performance to get you in the mood for the dance film "Apapachar*", followed by the screening of the film. After a 20-minute break, the choreographer Belinda Winkelmann and the two dancers present, Elena Wilczek and Lisa Wethkamp, will invite you to an audience discussion.about the film: Apapachar - The Dance Film (a production of com.dance e.V., D 2022, 52 min.)The longing for connection leads to an inner journey. Hearts widen to listen to the depths of existence. Memories, dreams and visions are found at the bottom of existence. The freedom to surrender to life. How does it feel to love? How do I dream the future? How do I encounter the fire of life? By immersing yourself in the moment and fully accepting diversity, the experience of "Apapachar", an embrace of the soul, becomes a transcendent experience.*The Spanish word "Apapachar" has its roots in the indigenous language "Nahuatl" and means embrace of the soul or caressing the soul.
