Art's Birthday

2025 was a break - 2026 will be a party! Save the date for the comeback of the beloved Art's Birthday on 17.01.2026 at E-Werk event rooms Freiburg!

We are celebrating the 30th anniversary of socioculture at E-Werk event rooms Freiburg and the kick-off to this enchanting anniversary - how could it be otherwise - will be Art's Birthday.

You know the concept: founded by Fluxus artist Robert Filliou on January 17, 1963, the day has been celebrated with concerts and art events in many cities around the world since his death in 1987. On this evening, we will open up many stages and spaces for you - including those that are usually closed to the public - and enliven the diversity of art and cultural forms at E-Werk event rooms Freiburg. As always, you are invited to move freely between all the spaces - art happens everywhere and invites you to watch and participate.

We can't reveal any more details yet, but you can be sure: it's going to be first class!
