In this course, the professional use of digital SLR and system cameras is deepened. Special emphasis is placed on portraiture and documentary/travel photography, with the goal of applying more complex shooting techniques. Other key topics covered in this course include: subject-specific focusing, depth of field, settings, effective approaches to photographic projects, advanced flash techniques, fundamentals of image composition and composition theory, recommendations for purchasing additional photographic accessories. The application of sophisticated shooting techniques as well as the analytical consideration of created photographs, taking into account technical as well as creative factors, offer the course participants new creative possibilities in photography. Prerequisites are a good basic knowledge of photography, media competence and a digital SLR camera or high-quality system camera. - Please bring: own SLR or mirrorless system camera with lens(es), if available: Tripod and external flash unit.
