Annette Zappe's delicate bronze sculptures address existential situations in human life. Her figures courageously transcend the boundaries of space and time. Traveling between past and future, they embody the fullness of the present moment and of being here and now.

Annette Zappe is a trained master church painter and studied at the art academy in Karlsruhe. She was a technical teacher for painting techniques at the Art Academy in Stuttgart for four years. She has lived and worked in the Allgäu since 2006. In mostly figurative bronze sculptures, the artist deals intensively with existential and religious issues.
