Building a KUBB game

After playing together, you can carve your own Viking chess set out of fresh wood with the drawing knife on the chisel. Depending on your taste and craftsmanship, you can give the queen or king your own personal touch.
Courses in the green wood workshop
The forest house (WaldHaus) has been running a green wood workshop since it opened in 2008. Working with freshly cut wood used to be widespread. It is easier to work with than dried wood. In addition to working on the cutting axe with draw knives, other special techniques and tools are used. Our workshop manager Frank Janson and other experienced instructors teach the art and skill of green woodworking in various courses.

Participation fee per game and team (min. 3 - max. 4 people): 35 euros incl. materials, children aged 12 and over accompanied by a participating adult
