To the Alps with Mark Twain

Hurrah! We're going on a trip. With Mark Twain. To the Swiss Alps. And on foot. It's 1878, and we sleep through five spectacular sunrises. Then we drink buckets of Alpine milk, get lost in the fog four yards from the hotel, and silence yodeling alpine dairymen with a handout. For days we show off with our alpine sticks, then the break follows. After the break we conquer the dreaded Riffelberg. In the evening suit! Oh yes! It will be hard and uphill! We will need explosives ... We will curse, we will smoke and we will be desperate. But in the end Zermatt will be at our feet.
