BEETHOVEN 4!

The Ensemble LouisE was founded in 2023 by a group of musicians from Freiburg to perform a symphony and a piano concerto by Ludwig van Beethoven together once a year. What drives us? On the one hand, our enthusiasm for this music, and on the other, our love of flexible and energetic music-making in a small symphonic ensemble.

Our pianist Max Langer is a virtuoso improviser and incorporates all kinds of ideas in his cadenzas and encores - from Bach to the Beatles. Our concerts are donation-based and open to all who wish to come.

It is a tradition to end the concert with a small drink. We look forward to talking to you in person!
