Image design and composition theory in photography (intensive weekend)

This intensive course introduces those interested to classical composition theory and the possibilities of image composition. The following topics will be discussed in detail, with particular emphasis on photographic methods and techniques: - Composition theory as an aid to image composition - Recognizing and arranging picture elements - Defining and visualizing line structures - Realization of space and depth in the image - Iconographic image reading - Recognizing visual language and using it yourself - Exercises for evaluating images - Image discussion and evaluation By means of direct implementation, the knowledge gained is translated into practical work. This course is aimed at anyone aged 16 and over with a good knowledge of photography and their own SLR or mirrorless camera. - Please bring your own: Your own SLR or mirrorless system camera with lens(es).
