BioCirclE - Urban bioeconomy strategy

Free entry

How can biological resources in cities be used sustainably and material cycles be closed intelligently?
As part of the BioCirclE project, the FWTM and its project partners are presenting the new urban bioeconomy strategy. The strategy shows ways in which innovative approaches for resource-efficient and climate-friendly urban development can be implemented by combining the bioeconomy and circular economy.

The event is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), research institutions, administration and interested citizens who would like to find out more about specific measures, goals and support services. In addition to expert input, practical examples will be presented and opportunities for networking and discussion will be offered.

Freiburg will demonstrate the potential that lies in the consistent recycling of biological raw materials - from bio-based materials and sustainable production processes to innovative utilization concepts in the city and region.
