This lecture shows what nature has to offer to overcome spring fatigue. The so-called bitter substances are found in many plants and have many beneficial effects on our bodies.
Winter goes and spring comes and what remains is often a paralyzing tiredness. We can't really get going and everything takes a little longer - everyone is familiar with the well-known spring fatigue.
Let's take a look at what nature has to offer us to overcome this sluggishness and tiredness.
One possibility is the so-called bitter substances. Bitter substances are found in many plants and have a variety of beneficial effects on our bodies. Unfortunately, bitter substances are deliberately bred out of our food, so we have to get them in other ways.
In the end, hopefully everyone will be convinced, as I am, that bitter substances really do make us happy and healthy and will dare to eat more bitter in everyday life.
Dr. Eva-Maria Wagner has a doctorate in biology and worked in the pharmaceutical industry for many years. She lives in Mahlberg with her two children and her husband. She has long been interested in the healing power of plants and loves to collect and process wild herbs herself in spring, summer and fall and get to know them better and better. Last year, she fulfilled her dream and trained as a medicinal plant specialist to learn even more about herbs and marvel at God's miraculous works time and time again.
The event is organized by the Adventist Church and the DVG-German Association for Health Care
