On 07.02.2026 BITTERNESS will celebrate their 25th anniversary at ArtTik in Freiburg.

In addition to various guest musicians and songs from all phases of the band, the band will also present material from their new album "Hallowed Be The Game", which will be released on 06.02.2026, for the first time.

With their mix of thrash and melodic death metal, the band has established itself as a constant in the German metal underground over the years.

Headlining the evening will be NIGHT IN GALES, one of the most famous and important melodic death metal bands from Germany. NIGHT IN GALES will also be putting on a special show and will be playing their entire debut EP "Sylphlike" as well as selected other songs on this evening.

The Basel thrashers from TOTAL ANNIHIATION, who will release their new album "Mountains Of Death" in early 2026, will also be there, as will long-time companions TREMORS, who will bring the ArTik to the boil with their death rock metal, and Freiburg death metal legends SECOND COMING, who will lay down a good dose of old-school metal. Both bands have joined forces once again just for this show and will be really stepping on the gas.
