Blue Side of Town

No other band in southern Germany cultivates and plays this music as authentically and passionately as Blue Side of Town. The program is characterized by the country and western style of the fifties, especially Hank Williams. The musicians also draw on the styles of modern country compositions that have grown out of the roots of the "Bakersfield sound" from the 1930s and 1940s in the lively music scene north-east of Los Angeles.

The members of the band are known for their professionalism and dedication from many other projects and deliver an exclusive and emotional country and rock show as a group. Highlights are the steel guitar, the fiddle and the expressive, polyphonic vocals. We are looking forward to a fantastic evening with the masters of the country scene from the Freiburg area.
