Boule - sport and socializing in the city districts

Boule or pétanque is played not only in France, but also in many parts of Freiburg. Old and young meet to let the balls roll or fly. In this course, participants learn the basics of the laying and shooting technique, hone correct posture and a harmonious flow of movement. The course dates take place on different boules courts (Seepark, Alter Wiehre Bahnhof, Zähringen, Kanonenplatz) in order to immerse oneself in the specific atmosphere of different parts of the city. The written and unwritten rules of the sport of boules will be discussed, as well as the specifics of boules courts and boules scenes. - Boule balls will be provided.
