Brazilian rhythm: Samba drumming & Co. for beginners (vacation course)

In this basic course you will learn the most important principles of samba drumming, as it is celebrated in South America with pleasure also at street festivals, and you will approach first self-played samba rhythms via common coordination exercises, singing and rhythm exercises. The participants will have the opportunity to try out the main instruments of the Samba de Roda (Pandeiro, Tantã, Surdo, Tamborim, Reco-Reco, Ganzá, Afoxé and Triângulo) themselves and to play the first rousing rhythms together. A varied course, which is suitable for beginners as well as for drummers with previous knowledge, but also for advanced drummers. - All instruments will be presented and can be tested on the spot. If you like, you can also bring your own samba drums.
