Book tickets

In the 1927 comedy, Buster Keaton plays an outstanding student who buries himself in books and has nothing left for sports. To impress his girlfriend, he nevertheless tries his hand at various sports, failing miserably and causing his grades at college to suffer. The dean confronts him and, after learning everything, gets him the position of coxswain in a rowboat.

The comedy "College" is "riveting entertainment", and Buster Keaton presents in it "some of his most delightful ideas and gags" (Dictionary of International Film). On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the VfR Merzhausen, Günter Buchwald, one of the most renowned silent film musicians in the world, will accompany the film live together with Frank Bockius.
