Welsh blues-rock sensation Cardinal Black will be taking their thrilling live show on an extended tour of Germany for the first time from November. Due to high demand, the trio led by frontman Tom Hollister, guitarist Chris Buck and drummer Adam Roberts has extended the German tour: the club shows in November and December 2025 will be followed by five additional concerts in Dortmund (27.2.), Wissen (28.2.), Leipzig (2.3.), Aschaffenburg (3.3.) and Freiburg (4.3.) in February and March 2026.
After acclaimed support appearances for Peter Frampton, Joe Bonamassa and Myles Kennedy as well as sold-out shows in London, L.A. and Nashville, Cardinal Black have established themselves as one of the most exciting new live bands. Their latest album Midnight At The Valencia, released on May 23, 2025 via Thirty Tigers, was recorded at the renowned Powerplay Studios in Zurich and produced by Cyrill Camenzind (James Morrison, Alain Clark).
The album is an emotional journey through love, loss, hope and new beginnings - carried by Tom Hollister's distinctive voice and Chris Buck's virtuoso guitar playing, which has made him one of the most acclaimed guitarists of his generation. Songs like Push/Pull, written after the death of Buck's father, or the optimistic Need More Time show the band in their strongest form to date. "We feel like we've put in our 10,000 hours," says Hollister about the making of the record.
With its blend of timeless blues-rock, atmospheric soundscapes and gripping songwriting, the Midnight At The Valencia Tour promises a live experience that will resonate for a long time.
Cardinal Black's extraordinary career began with an invitation from Steve Winwood, in whose Wincraft Studios the first songs were recorded. After a short record deal with former Guns N' Roses manager Alan Niven, they initially parted ways - until the band topped the iTunes and Amazon rock charts in 2021 with the number 1 single "Tell Me How It Feels". Their first album also reached number 1, and recordings at the legendary Abbey Road Studio Two followed.
Having sold out shows in Europe, the US and the UK, Cardinal Black have established themselves as one of the most electrifying live bands around. With Midnight At The Valencia, they are now continuing this success and bringing their impressive musical intensity to German stages.
