The Russian Choir of the University campus Freiburg has been singing folk songs with spiritual and secular origins for 96 years.

The songs are about everyday village life, about love, joy and pain. They are mockery,

dance and lullabies, sung legends and spiritual songs as well as songs about nature and the

nature and the vastness of the landscape.

With our songs, we give a musical insight into life in old Russia.
