Yokohama-born Sachiko Furuhata made her debut at Carnegie Hall New York in November 2017 and received a standing ovation. Since then, she has performed in various major concert halls such as the San Francisco Herbst Theatre, Edinburgh's Usher Hall, Leipzig's Gewandhaus, the Berlin Philharmonie and Hamburg's Elbphilharmonie. As a soloist, she has performed with various orchestras such as the Russian State Philharmonic, the German Radio Philharmonic and others. She is one of the most popular and sought-after pianists in Europe.
