Christmas Jazz - Swinging instead of whispering

Swinging anticipation
As always, when the Freiburg Chamber Choir joins forces with the brilliant Freiburg jazz pianist Johannes Mössinger, it's "swinging instead of whispering" again this Advent when the Christmas Jazz program takes place in Freiburg's Rieselfeld and in St. Peter in the Black Forest.
Under the direction of Lukas Grimm, the mood is set: Christmas just isn't quite here yet, (almost) all the crooning Christmas classics can wait a little longer. The gentle, waiting mood of Advent is combined with a good dose of swinging anticipation. In the tried and tested alternation between works with choir and purely instrumental intermezzi, Mössinger and Grimm's own compositions will of course not be missing.
This year's star guest is drummer and ECHO Jazz Award winner Bastian Jütte, who will enrich the evening with his multi-layered rhythmic drive.
