Panflute virtuoso Hannah Schlubeck and pianist Thorsten Schäffer present a colorful program under the motto "Colourful PANflute" with a musical journey through the history of music and the diverse possibilities of the Romanian panflute. The musicians span the musical spectrum from baroque music to contemporary music, their own compositions, improvisations and jazz.

Hannah Schlubeck studied classical music at the Musikhochschule Wuppertal and has a breathtaking command of the nuances that the instrument makes available to her. With immense musicality, great expressiveness and unbridled joy of playing, she is an eloquent ambassador for her instrument. Her boundless passion for music captivates the listener and makes every piece of music she plays a little rarity.
Thorsten Schäffer is a composer and sought-after piano accompanist. Schlubeck and Schäffer met during their studies at the Cologne University of Music, Wuppertal department, and have been giving concerts together ever since. The duo recorded their first CD back in 1996.
