Comme il Faut - Workshop - Concert - Dance

Duo "Comme il Faut" are Daniela Varela Torres (guitar/vocals) and Javier Arias (piano/arrangements) from Buenos Aires, Argentina. As part of their second European tour, they will be presenting their debut album "Tangos Milongueros" at Jazzhaus.

Their musical style is an expression of their love for traditional tango and the folk music of Argentina. They mainly play tangos, valses and milongas as well as Argentine folklore such as chacarera, chamamé, samba, gato...
In their interpretations, they bring the old compositions to life in their original form. There will also be tangos written by Javier Arias himself. He is a composer and founder of one of the most traditional Argentinean tango orchestras, the "Orquesta Tipica Misteriosa".
Tango dancers can look forward to this, because "Comme il Faut" loves and lives the danceable tango in particular.

The concert begins with a musical, audiovisual journey through the rhythms and forms of Argentinian folklore in the different regions of the country.
The second part of the concert consists of traditional, danceable tangos, valses and milongas. Dancing is allowed. A bailar!
After the concert, the evening continues with a milonga (= tango dance evening) with DJ Chris Fo.

Before the concert there will be a dance workshop to get to know the Argentine folklore dance Chacarera. All concert-goers, whether in pairs or individually, are cordially invited to attend.
