Credo - Celebrating worship together

On Sunday, August 31, 2025 at 12 noon, a large ecumenical service will take place on Freiburg's Münsterplatz as part of the Münsterplatz concerts. Under the motto "Credo", the Catholic and Protestant churches and the Freiburg House of Prayer, together with numerous other congregations and organizations, invite you to celebrate worship together - together and united in a colourful diversity.

The service will be organized by Gabriele Hartlieb (Protestant city pastor), Karsten Klemme (House of Prayer) and Tobias Gutmann (KHG Freiburg). The service will focus on the unifying diversity of faith and how it can be lived today. Some exciting guests have been invited to share their personal stories. With musical accompaniment by the band of the House of Prayer Freiburg under the direction of Karsten Klemme, the format follows on from the successful premiere of this service last year. With its large stage and proximity to Freiburg Minster, "Credo" 2025 also promises a unique worship experience and ambience.

In addition to the Catholic and Protestant churches and the Freiburg House of Prayer, this service is supported by: the Association of Christian Churches and Communities (ACK), the Protestant Alliance Freiburg and the Protestant City Mission Freiburg e.V.
