Damien Juillard | Liminal Tears | Solo presentation
In his first institutional solo exhibition with a new body of works, Damien Juillard experiments with forms of perdurability within the ephemeral digital image culture.
Using scanned objects as well as edited screenshots from his smartphone, he extracts enduring moments from these fleeting, constantly changing screen landscapes. In a lengthy process of digital and physical choreography of movements, shifts and superimpositions the artist transforms these fragments into compositions that are presented in larger-than-life acrylic glass structures. As fascinating, minimalist pictorial bodies they confront us as mirrors with systems of data flows and network technologies that shape our contemporary existence.

Ceidra Moon Murphy | Groundwork | Solo presentation
With her solo presentation Groundwork, Ceidra Moon Murphy continues her interrogation of the transparency surrounding state procedures and Public-Private partnerships. She draws attention to the architecture that exists to support them. Centred around Earwitness, a series of disused commercial flight recorders made by the defence company Lockheed Martin, the world’s leading arms manufacturer, the works in this exhibition question how far states and their contractors act within the public interest in times of rapidly increasing military spending.
