In Mrs. Camilla's garden, under the earth by the roots of the sunflower, tiny animals cavort and appear huge as if through a magnifying glass on the fantastic stage. The little earthworm Paule and his grandfather experience funny and exciting adventures. Also present: the good-natured woodlouse, the snuffing snail and the lying running beetle!
Gregor Schwank, who learned his art at the "Augsburger Puppenkiste", carved magical and precious figures with great attention to detail. The elaborate production with witty dialogues and uniquely whimsical voices also conveys a lot of interesting information about the way of life of the little ground dwellers in the natural cycle!
