I am the little light

Light and shadow set out to create a world of light and dark in the vast universe. Two beings that could not be more different, but whose interplay creates beautiful images. But as quickly as the images of light appear, they disappear again and transform into ever new imaginary creations. The interplay of brightness and darkness, of tones, sounds and silence, of stillness and movement creates a dream theater full of magic and beautiful illusions.

The T-Werk production "Das kleine Licht bin ich" is the first joint production with the visual artist Heide Schollähn, the dancer Laura Heinecke and the musician Nicolas Schulze.

Thanks to the associative imagery, the spoken word is disregarded in the piece. The combination of dance, music and live projections creates a fairytale world that challenges the children's creative imagination and shows how new worlds of images can be created with the simplest of means.
