In this fairy tale full of contradictions and twists, the world is out of joint: the King of Sicily suddenly accuses his wife of cheating on him with the King of Bohemia; he has the alleged infidel thrown into the dungeon and abandons their child born there. The Bohemian regent, who is to be murdered, manages to escape to his homeland. Can time heal all wounds, reconcile the quarrelsome, clear up the misunderstandings and bring back to life those believed dead?
