An important period of Russian history is the period from 1580 to 1610, when Ivan IV, called the Terrible, changed to the "Angel Tsar" Fyodor I to Boris Godunov, and the allegedly false and pseudo-tsar Dimitri appeared. It is the so-called "time of turmoil".Significant is this epoch, because course was set, which until today in Russia demarcation and distrust and in the West hardening on own positions resulted.In the great national opera Boris Godunow Modest Mussorgsky has created from it a drama about Krakow - Moscow - Boyars - Jesuits and madness.
