The Gruffalo

The great forest is full of dangers. So it's good to have a strong friend.

And if you don't have one, you just make one up.

The little mouse is out alone in the forest and meets the fox, who invites him to eat jelly, the owl, who invites him to tea, and the snake, who invites him to the snake-and-mouse festival.

But the little mouse threatens anyone who tries to eat her with the terrible Gruffalo.

She only made him up, because Grüffelos don't really exist... do they?
