Film legend Hans Zimmer and Sir Elton John

The Oscar-winning soundtrack by film music legend Hans Zimmer has been shaping the globally successful animated film "The Lion King" for 27 years now: African rhythms and sounds paired with monumental, epic melodies. Sir Elton John's poignant hits such as "Hakuna Matata", "Circle of Life" and "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" are timeless and composed for eternity.

Together, the magical music of Sir Elton John and Hans Zimmer is a unique concert experience that touches and inspires all age groups in equal measure!

Hardly any other film soundtrack connects entire generations with so many personal emotions and memories as Disney's "The Lion King". The story of the lion cub Simba, who sets out in search of his place in the eternal cycle of life. An archaic basic structure that fascinates for generations.

70 performers

70 performers, soloists, choir and orchestra, from the Cinema Festival Symphonics under the direction of Stephen Ellery from London, have already thrilled audiences with their concert performances of "Game of Thrones", "Star Wars" and "Harry Potter".

The ensemble is known for its emotional, true-to-the-original, powerful sound, which immerses the audience directly in the movie themes.

This emotional, sonorous experience is animated by video clips that transport the audience directly to the African savannah. Majestic lions, primitive elephants, elegant leopards and, of course, Pumba the warthog and Timon the meerkat colorfully illustrate the eternal cycle of life.
