The Freiburg Bach Cantata Series

A warm invitation to the first concert of the Freiburg Bach cantata series in the new year!
The Bach cantatas BWV 32 and BWV 154 performed by Ensemble Context tell of the search for Christ in different ways:
BWV 32 as a tender dialog between soul and Redeemer, BWV 154 with dramatic expression. Together they demonstrate once again Bach's inexhaustible gift for capturing spiritual themes in moving music.
