Samuel Gapp and Vasco Furtado met some time ago in Lisbon, where all three of them lived for several years. After working together in various constellations and currently living and working in Freiburg, Cologne and Barcelona, the trio will come together for a five-day tour in Germany in November 2025. It is crucial that the tour is the first encounter between the musicians in this trio line-up: free improvisation thrives on precisely such encounters, which require absolute openness and a willingness to take risks, and specifically explore frictions and differences - both within the ensemble and in relation to the audience.

The duo Christian Dierstein and Harald Kimmig have been working together musically for many years, moving between improvisation and new music. In their joint work, they constantly explore the tonal possibilities of their instruments anew and create exciting sound spaces that make encounters and dialog audible. Their music thrives on the openness of the moment, on tonal precision as well as spontaneous energy - a continuous exploration and invention beyond stylistic boundaries.
