DUO Coskun/Picas - Souls

Murat Coskun and Beatriz Picas are united by their great passion for the music that emerges between worlds and styles. After a successful CD release tour in Turkey and numerous concerts in Germany and Portugal, the two have grown together to form a captivating duo: Picas, whose voice is immediately moving with its individual timbre, goes her own way in combining cello and vocals. Coskun, a master of his trade, has such a virtuoso command of his large percussion instruments that he can seemingly blindly and intuitively enter into the music together.
The initially surprising-sounding combination of world percussion, cello and voices becomes a novel but convincing sound experience: singing with the cello, playing with the voice, making the percussion cry and laugh.
