A WEATHER in the HEART

A poet "with the diagnostic intuition of a physician and at the same time with the ingenious introspection of a poet" is how "Die Rheinpfalz" describes the author's work. In the moderated reading, he will read from the anthology "Ah, ein Herz, verstehe - Gedichte von Heilenden und Kranken" (Quintus-Verlag, 2024), which he edited, as well as from his latest volume of poetry. GEWETTER (Quintus-Verlag, 2022) was shortlisted for the Landesliteraturpreis 2023 (Anna Haag Prize). He has now compiled texts by 101 poets from 500 years on the topics of illness, recovery and everything in between: The art of healing and falling ill in all its psychosomatic facets. And wherever an understanding of the world is linked to a lyrical ego, it always proves true: (one's own) language can be a health resort.
