A new dress

The buildings at Theaterstrasse 12 on Sechseläutenplatz in Zurich and the headquarters of Energie 360° in Altstetten have been given a new look.
As 'Haus am Platz', the renovated and converted commercial building on Sechseläutenplatz from the 1970s strikes a fine balance between airy transparency on the lake and the continuity of the historic Bellevue façade on the basis of the existing supporting structure with a new façade.
The rebuilt and renovated headquarters of Energie 360° is not located in the old town, but directly next to the railroad tracks, a bridge over them and a city highway, and offers around 400 employees a working environment that conveys the company's new identity to the outside world with a glittering blue solar façade.
This is the first time that Anna Jessen has publicly presented the two projects in Freiburg, which are examples of contemporary, sustainable construction on a cultural, structural and energy level.
