In this weekend course you will learn the optical and technical basics of digital photography and the professional handling of your own camera. In addition to determining optimized presettings on the camera, motif and subject-related techniques will be taught and implemented in practical applications. The topics in detail: Structure and function of digital SLR and system cameras; lenses and focal lengths as well as their use; exposure and shutter speeds; the aperture as a design tool: depth of field; basics of portrait and landscape photography; optimal use of individual automatic options; correct flash; useful photographic accessories; basics of image composition and composition theory. - Please bring: own SLR or high-quality system camera (bridge cameras are not suitable), if available: Flash unit.
