Introduction to ecology

This course will familiarize you with the basics of environmental science for understanding applied issues in ecology such as climate change and biodiversity loss. The ecological relationships between humans, animals and plants, climate and the environment will be explained clearly, even for non-scientists. From this, examples of applied ecology are discussed, which should enable you to critically examine and evaluate environmental policy statements for their scientific truth content.
