Opening: Augustian museum convent building

The opening of the new exhibition rooms in the former convent building marks the completion of many years of renovation work at the Augustian museum. Modern, barrier-free and interactive, the museum presents the art and cultural history of the region on a total area of 2,900 square meters.

The new exhibition space on four floors has noticeably changed the museum's appearance. Visitors will experience a much broader and more diverse cultural offering, increased use of media and new forms of participation and mediation.
