Dance guest performance: every_body

How many different ways are there to shake hands? How many different ways of simply walking side by side? In the dance performance every_body, everyday moments appear in a completely different light. The Belgian dance group Not Standing shows how very simple movements can become poetry. A flower blossoms from a handshake. A bird swoops down from a spin. A table becomes a dance partner. Movement and music conjure up a world of magic on stage in every_body. Gentle beats set the pulse. Dancers Chia-Hung Chung and Charlotte Cétaire combine acrobatics and circus art with contemporary dance. In front of a colorful glittering forest of yellow and purple flowers, they play with the limits of gravity. With humor and lightness, they question the world and show: Things are not always as they seem.
