Ticket-free Saturday on the VAG network

With the "Free ride into Advent" campaign, Freiburger Verkehrs AG (VAG), together with the Initiative Gemeinsam Freiburg e.V. and Freiburg Wirtschaft und Touristik und Messe (FWTM), is supporting retailers in this year's pre-Christmas sales. Passengers on VAG buses and trains do not need a ticket on Saturday, November 30. Some stores will have extended opening hours and offer a varied program. The free ride is valid on the entire VAG network from midnight to midnight. It has no effect on the parking regulations for park-and-ride parking lots. A parking permit is still required for this. Services subject to a surcharge, such as the telephone call service and the connecting cabs in the Safer Traffic night service, will remain subject to a charge this weekend.
