Ceremony: Reinhold Schneider Prize

On Friday, November 21, Mayor Martin Horn will present the city's cultural awards in the literature category at 7.30 pm in the historical merchants' hall.
Interested citizens are cordially invited to attend the award ceremony. The event is free of charge. Registration is requested due to limited seating capacity.

Beate Thill, literary translator, essayist, editor and literary mediator, receives the Cultural Award of the City of Freiburg, endowed with 15,000 euros.
The scholarship for the Reinhold Schneider Prize, endowed with 6,000 euros, is awarded in equal parts of 3,000 euros each: to the cultural scientist and author Fatma Sağir and to the writer Kai Weyand.
This year's honorary prize is a special one, as it is awarded posthumously to the writer Marie T. Martin.
